May Currently
I meant to post this yesterday, but I was to busy enjoying my fun Saturday. Today will do! Here’s what I’m up to this month:
Listening: I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen The Hunger Games – but it’s on TV so I can’t NOT watch it.
Loving: This weekend and next weekend are completely free. It’s rare for me to have commitment-free weekends, so I take advantage of them whenever possible. I am really appreciating the opportunity to relax, and get things done.
Thinking: I know, there is nothing fun about laundry, I can’t seem to catch up, and the number of loads I have to finish in the next couple of days is a bit staggering. How does it multiply like that?!
Wanting: There is something about summer – warm, sunny days specifically that put me in an incredible mood. It’s like my attitude completely shifts at the possibility of long days, fun weekends, camping trips, reading on the patio, and sunsets with glasses of wine. I love it!
Needing: I’ve been sneaking a lot of reading time in lately. I don’t really have time for it, but I love the distraction. I’m going to have a little more time this summer (when we’re camping and traveling) to do some serious reading, so I need to get a list started. Amazon is going to love me!
Summer: I am definitely going to Las Vegas this summer, I booked my plane ticket yesterday! I’ll be there for the TPT Conference, but my mom and my sister are going with me, and it just happens to be over my birthday, so it’s going to be a fun girls’ trip too. I’m hoping to sneak away on a lot of weekend camping trips. We’ve already got two planned for June and I’d love to see how many more we can squeeze in. I dream of sleeping in all summer, but I work during the summer so it’s not going to happen. If I had it my way I’d wake up every day at 10am and go to bed around 2am. Maybe someday…
