• Merry Christmas!

This is my last blog post for 2023 and I want to use it to wish all of you the very merriest Christmas! I am so grateful for your support over the past year and I’m looking forward to everything that I have planned to share with you in 2024. Please enjoy some time to relax and recharge with your favorite people. I’ll be back in January so that we can dive in with both feet!

    Teacher Christmas Must-Haves

We officially have one more week until Christmas! If your calendar looks anything like mine, then it’s probably packed with all of the festive events – and if you still need some last minute outfits or accessories for all of these, then I’ve got you covered. All of these picks are from Amazon, so they can save the day really quickly (and the links are affiliates, but I truly do love all of these products). Christmas-shaped stud earrings – I’m not a fan of wearing dangly earrings in the classroom, there’s far too much opportunity for them to get caught or grabbed by a little hand. Large, dangly earrings seem…

    Printable Christmas Thank You Cards

Here’s a super helpful resource for this time of year! Printable thank you cards have saved me more times than I can count. While I love stationary, and admittedly have a much larger stash than is necessary, I never seem to have enough thank you cards. These can be printed as needed, making it really easy to get those thank you’s out for any student or co-worker gifts before everyone leaves school for the holidays. You can grab your set HERE!

  • When Christmas Brings Chaos

What is it about this time of year?! No matter how clearly I plan everything out, it all still seems to turn into a jumbled, stressful mess. I know I can’t be the only one who feels this way. I know exactly what my problem is, I’m constantly adding more projects and activities to my well-laid plains, and that’s when things get overwhelming, BUT I’m really trying to live by this quote that I shared last year: Now, I can’t say I’ve ever HATED the holidays, I love everything about them! I definitely understand the sentiment though. My goal this year is to lean into the things that bring me…

Classroom Party Themes for the Holidays

Party themes seem to follow trends, but sometimes I like to do something a little different than everyone else is doing. If this is true for you too, then here are some fun holiday party ideas for the classroom that are a bit different! Get creative with your Christmas party themes this year! It’s fun to think up new ideas – what are some of the favorites that you’ve done over the years?

  • Printable Classroom Decorations

I hope that Wednesday’s post on decorating the classroom for the holidays gave you some things to think over! I wanted to pop in and share a couple of printable decor sets that I have available to make life a little easier in case you’re ready to decorate and aren’t quite sure where to start. These are designed to be used for class parties, so they include items for stickers, cupcake picks, treat bag toppers, and a collaborative activity. The buntings and door decoration can be put up for a party day or for the whole season.

Thoughts on Decorating the Classroom for the Holidays

You know that I’m big on celebrating holidays – personally, and in the classroom – so it should come as no surprise that I’m a fan of decorating the classroom to support this. At the same time, I know this can be a little tricky. We want to acknowledge the things that are happening in children’s lives, while also being culturally appropriate and making sure to respect all families’ traditions. I’ll be the first to say that I’m not an expert in this area, but I definitely try to do my best! Children are coming into contact with holiday decor and displays in the real world, so it’s important to…

    Clip Art Collections

I’ve shared that all 12 months of my preschool plans are now available (check those out here) – but I haven’t taken time to highlight all of my clipart sets! I’ve truly loved creating these and it’s so fun to look back at each set and notice all of the great seasonal details included. Here are all of the clipart sets that I have in both my TPT and Etsy shops. In pulling together all of these images I realized that I haven’t showed you my latest set – this is the Peppermint Wonderland bundle! I love the classic red and green for Christmas, but red and pink is definitely…
