August Currently!
It’s August, can you believe it – I’m still in denial – but it’s here, so I’m linking up with Farley over at Oh Boy 4th Grade to let you in on what I’m up to.
Listening: I’m desperately trying to finish my laundry so I can pack for our week at the Fair, my house is completely silent so that I can hear the alarm the minute it goes off.
Loving: My new job has me doing a lot of driving and I have been loving driving around in the sunshine with the windows down, it finally feels like summer (now that it’s almost over).
Thinking: This is my favorite week of the year, and it’s going to be jam-packed. I’ll be at the county fair with my family and our 4H members all week, but I’ll also be celebrating back to school on TPT. Fair week has been the traditional end to summer for as long as I can remember, so I’m going to send it out on a fun note.
Wanting: The last couple of weeks have been a blur, I’ve been crazy busy getting ready for the fair, settling into my new job, and finishing up some other projects. I really just want to sit down and read a book, and the fact that I don’t have time to makes me want to do it even more!
Needing: I have a pretty good schedule for keeping up with this little blog, but this week, the last thing I want to do is write some new posts, which is silly because I’ve actually got them written, I just find myself putting of actually typing them in and working on the images. Occasionally I procrastinate, apparently this week is going to be one of those time, which is ridiculous because I absolutely do not have time for it this week.
RAK: I’m not in the classroom anymore, but all of my best friends are teachers and I love to spoil them just a little. Two of my favorite teachers are switching grade levels this year, and I know they’re a little stressed, another of my friends will be starting her first day of school after spending the summer with her new baby, so I know a little extra love from me will go a long way.
Go check out what some of my favorite bloggers are up to this month, you can see the entire link up at Oh Boy Fourth Grade.
