While I love the entire egg-dying experience and welcome any sort of mess in the classroom, I can certainly appreciate that there are situations and environments where a neater approach is necessary. There are plenty of ways to decorate eggs without ruining your clothes, furniture, or carpet. Here are some great options:

Draw on warm eggs with crayons

Dye eggs with tissue paper and water

Glue dots and glitter make beautiful polka dot eggs

Decorate eggs with washi tape
