I’m linking up with Farley at Oh Boy Fourth Grade for September’s Currently! How do I forget about this every month?! At least this month’s is up earlier than August’s was.
Listening: I might be obsessed with Pandora, I have about a million different stations, but my current favorites are Today’s Country and Pitch Perfect Soundtrack. Between Pandora radio and Amazon Prime instant video my ipad is permanently charging.
Loving: Yay for PSL! This is just part of why I love love love autumn. I will mourn on the day that Starbucks introduces Christmas flavors.
Thinking: We’ve been so busy lately that we haven’t been home for dinner much, at least not at the same time, but things are finally getting back to normal (during the week at least) so I’m cooking tonight. I think it’s going to be homemade pizza.
Wanting: I know, right, it’s kind of the wrong time of the year for a vacation. Things have been crazy, and from August through November there is a ton of change happening in my life – My best friend just had a baby, my little sister is getting married, and we’re adding on to our home – I don’t do change well. I’d love to just get away from it all, and bury my head in the sand for a while.
Needing: One more thing that I love about fall is the clothes. I love that I can wear a sweater, but not a coat, I live in jeans, and I LOVE boots. Last year I had to throw away two pairs because I literally wore them out, so now I’m on the hunt for replacements, and cardigans, because who doesn’t love a good cardigan?!
3 Trips: I always thought I’d travel the world, and I’ve gone on a few great trips, but to be honest, the farther away I go, the more anxiety I have. I’m kind of a homebody, which works because my husband is too. We love a good vacation, but we generally keep it to the continental US. I do love a good cruise though, and I would love to visit the Virgin Islands. I’ve always wanted to go to New York City, in high school I honestly considered going to college there, luckily I quickly realized that I’m not really a city girl, but I’d still love to go visit, if only for the shopping! As for DC, I’m a closeted history buff, I would love to visit all of the monuments and soak it all in, maybe one day…
