Toddler Gift Guide 2015

The holiday shopping season is officially in full swing, and I’ve already begun to get requests for what to buy the littlest members of the family, so I figured it must be time, time for my annual holiday gift guides!  Today is all about the toddlers, here are some of my favorite finds and gifts to give all those 1 and 2 year olds on my list; (Amazon links are affiliates)

Cirkustalt Play Tent Toddlers are all about independence, and what lets them be more independent than a space just for them.  This play tent from Ikea is sure to provide hours of fun and imagination, plus it collapses flat for easy storage!

SmartMax These magnets are 100% safe for even the youngest builders.  The chunky shape makes it easy for toddlers to manipulate the pieces and build whatever they desire.  They are also a great way to begin exploring geometric shapes.

Foam Cinder Block Builders These block are the same size as real cinder blocks, but they’re made out of foam.  These are dream toys for a toddler, they can build a wall and run through it over and over again.  With blocks like this, Mom and Dad are going to want to join in the fun!

The Piano Guys The search for music that kids and parents will both love is over.  The piano guys play instrumental versions of pop hits mashed with classical favorites.  Parents don’t have to worry about questionable lyrics, and kiddos can jam out to the fun beats.

Hape Fantasy Castle Blocks I love Hape, and these blocks do not disappoint.  They can be arranged in a million different ways to create hundreds of different, colorful castles.  Many of the blocks are not perfectly square, so it’s a great lesson in balance.

Chunky Alphabet Puzzle Chunky puzzles are my favorite because it is just as much fun to play with the pieces as it is to try and do the puzzle.  This one has great colors, and the lowercase letters are written inside of each capital letter for extra language practice.

Crayola Washable Finger Paints Finger paints were made for toddlers.  They need to explore with their hands, what better way to discover texture and play with color mixing than fingerpaints, and what better brand than Crayola! You might also want to throw in a Crayola Art Smock to keep a little bit of the mess at bay.

I Love You, Stinky Face This silly book is full of giggles and a very sweet message.  It has inspired a Halloween and Christmas version, all of which share a parent’s love for their child.  The perfect bedtime story!

I hope that these ideas will help you choose gifts for all of the toddlers on you list, if you still need more options, check out the Infant Gift Guide that I posted yesterday, and last year’s Infant Toddler Gift Guide!
