Great Podcasts for Preschoolers

I started listening to podcasts with my daughter as a way to get out of listening to the same kids’ songs in the car over and over. Since then, we’ve both learned so much! Here are the podcasts that we’ve loved, and that we still turn to regularly.

But Why is from Vermont Public Broadcasting. Episodes focus on answering questions sent in by kids – everything from “Why are foods spicy?” to “Do cats like to swim?” It’s easy to listen to and always provokes more questions that we want to dig into on our own.

Frozen Forces of Nature is from Disney and ABC. This is a brand new Frozen story with a mystery, so it really keeps your hooked through all of the episodes. We’ve listened to it multiple times, and I catch something new every listen.

The Arthur podcast is from PBS Kids. Everything that you could possibly love about Arthur in a podcast, what more is there to say?!

Wow in the World is from Tinkercast. My daughter would say that Wow in the World is her absolute favorite podcast. The characters incorporate the perfect slightly gross humor that kids love with research-based scientific discoveries. It truly makes learning fun. A bit of a warning on this one, the humor can bit much (poop jokes, knuckle popping, etc.) so you might want to listen on your own before sharing with the kids in your life.
