Student Gift Ideas

Do you give your students holiday gifts? I’ve gone back and forth over the years, and truly it depends on the group. Some classes work their way into my heart and I want to give them gifts, other groups need a little something special from me because I know that they may not have the greatest holiday season otherwise. On the other hands, I know that some groups won’t appreciate anything that I give them and it’ll end up in the trash. It is what it is. If you’re looking for some proven student gift ideas that are always a hit, here are my top picks. All links are affiliates.
Mini Notebooks – A notebook is always useful. Children can draw or write in them, and these are perfect for taking along during holiday travels. Go a step further and put each child’s name on them with letter stickers or cut out vinyl.
Bookmarks – Sometimes the smallest gifts are the best. These are something that children can use every day, and the tracking line is especially helpful for beginning readers.
Mini Coloring Books – A coloring book is always a good idea. Pair these with stacking crayons and you’ve got a fun gift that travels easily.
Snowman Ornament – I still have the ornament that my first grade teacher gave me. Ornaments are always a win in my book. These snowmen are adorable, secular, and easy to personalize with a permanent or paint marker.
A personal note – Kids don’t often hear how wonderful they are. Using these holiday cards to leave them with a special note from you is the most meaningful gift any teacher could possibly give their students.
