One Little Word 2026

It’s a new year and I haven’t quite decided if I’m ready for it. I feel like I usually start a new year full of energy and motivation, right now I kind of just feel like I want to hibernate. While I may not be fully motivated to take on the world, I do have a word to inspire me this year.

As we approached Christmas I found myself seeking a cozy warm glow. I wanted a home full of candles and warmth, and I just kept finding myself using that word *glow*. So that’s what I’m leaning into this year. I want to glow – to me that means being fully happy with life and what I’m doing. I want to show up as my best and pour out every little bit into my family and anything that I chose to take on. Truly, I want others to look at me and see that passion and energy exuding from me.

It’s been a while since I could say any of that was true. I feel like I’ve been hiding a bit, but It’s my time to shine. It’s my time to figure out what in the world I’m doing and make sure that everyone knows it! Maybe I’ll start at home and make this place glow a bit after I put away all of the Christmas stuff that we’ve accumulated.
