Teacher Supplies for Assessment and Conferences

When it comes to completing assessments and holding parent teacher conferences, there are definitely certain supplies that I make sure to have on hand. Here are my favorite assessment supplies, all links are affiliates.

HP Sprocket Photo Printer – It could not be easier to print photos off of your phone with this little printer. I love to be able to hand parents a really cute photo of their child to start a conference off on the right foot.

Heavy Duty Three Hole Punch – I didn’t realize how much difference a great hole punch made until I used one, and I will never go back. Punch through 40 pages at a time and move on with your life!

Papermate Inkjoy Gel Pens – These are my all-time favorite pens. The variety pack makes color-coding so easy. I hoard these so that I always have a great pen when I need it.

Post-It Sticky Tabs – Mark pages temporarily or easily divide sections with these perfect little tabs. The size makes them easy to find and turn, and the part that sticks to the page is clear, so you can place them over words and still read the entire page.

Colored Legal Pads – Colored legal pads are my favorite office supply. I’ve always preferred these to a spiral notebook or loose paper, and the colors make it easy to color code and easily find the notepad you’re looking for.

Mailing Labels – These can be used so many different ways. If every student in class has the same piece of evidence you can print an entire sheet of labels with the information and quickly attach them to the evidence. You can also keep a page of them on your clipboard and write notes throughout the day and then stick them where they need to go at the end of the day for easy organization. I also love to use them to label binders, envelopes and boxes.

Niimbot Label Maker – Speaking of easy labeling, I don’t know what I did before I got one of these little beauties. I use this to label everything and I love that I can design the labels on my phone. It uses thermal printing so you never have to replace ink.
