January 2025
I don’t think I’ve ever been more ready to take on a new year! I can’t tell you where this feeling is coming from – or unfortunately how to find it in yourself – but I’m just feeling ready to tackle all of the things. It’s honestly super refreshing to know that I have changes to make and truly want to make them. That’s my mindset as we go into 2025, I’m feeling all of the “let’s do this” and “you’ve got this” vibes and I’m leaning all of the way into them.
While I definitely have some goals ( I refuse to call them resolutions), they all kind of fall under one frame of mind. More than anything I want to look at every single thing I do and know that I gave it my absolute best. This applies to everything to from my professional life, to being a wife and mom, all the way down to the last loaf of sourdough I baked (that was my Christmas break journey!). Unfortunately it’s been a while since I could truly say that I put every ounce of effort into all of these areas, and that’s just not the person I am, so she’s coming back and ready to take over. I hope that means you’ll get some great new resources out of me!
Speaking of new resources, I’m specifically looking to revive my Pinterest boards. I love these things and still use the platform regularly, so it feels like a natural place to focus my attention. What started as a place to gather every great preschool activity ever (to make lesson planning easier of course), has become where I save ideas for my whole life. You can follow along!
If you’re reading this and absolutely not feeling those determined-to-tackle-the-new-year vibes please know that it’s ok! I’ve been there more times than I can count. Sometimes you’re just getting through the day. My best advice is to find one little piece of happiness in each day. Seeking positivity has a way of helping us see more of the good and beautiful – that’s never a bad thing!
