Last-Minute Non-Candy Halloween Treats

 Non-candy treats

I’ve got to say, I’m still a huge fan of giving out candy for Halloween – mostly because my kid doesn’t need anymore little junk laying around (iykyk). That said, I fully understand that many schools try to stay away from the sweets. If you’re in the market for non-candy treats this year, here are some ideas that are sure to be a hit. Friendship Bracelets – Friendship bracelets are still having a moment (thank you Taylor Swift), and these are excellent because they can be worn year after year to dress up any Halloween outfit.

Ghost Stickers – I haven’t met a kid who can resist a good sticker. These ghosts are super fun!

Play-Doh – We can’t get enough Play-doh at my house. I love these Halloween packs because they are small and perfect for throwing in a bag when we’re going on a long car ride or traveling.

Halloween Pens – I used to be a huge fan of giving kids pencils, until my own started bringing home a million unsharpened pencils and it became my job to sharpen them all. Now pens are my go-to.

Glow Sticks – You really can’t go wrong with any kind of glow sticks, especially for Halloween. Kids can use them immediately or save them for any outing in the dark.
