Christmas Gifts for Preschoolers 2025

Christmas gifts for preschoolers

You all know that my heart belongs to preschool. Shopping for kids in this age group is so fun because they’re starting to figure out what they really enjoy and they can be vocal about what they love (and don’t love). They’ve got these great little personalities and buying Christmas gifts for preschoolers feels like celebrating the people they’re becoming. Here are my top picks for this year, all links are affiliates.

Tender Leaf Toys Waggy Tails Dog Salon – Anything from Tender Leaf Toys is a sure bet. This dog grooming set as absolutely adorable and includes everything a child needs to really set the scene and create some wonderful stories. Any animal lover will play with this for hours.

Fisher-Price Wood Preschool Game Domino Run Playset – Dominos are a classic for a reason. This set will entice any child with it’s fun colors and cute accessories. Adults will want to get in on the fun too, making this an excellent gift for the entire family.

Handy Famm Children’s Safety Tool Bundle – If you’re looking for a first set of “real” tools to gift, look no further. Handy Famm tools are INCREDIBLE! They’re made specifically to fit children’s hands, and kids will definitely want to use them. This set would be perfect for any preschooler who loves to help fix things around the house.

Mini Magnetic Tiles Road Travel Set with Case – I love a travel set because it usually comes with a handy storage case. This one incorporates the storage into the play, with all of the magnetic pieces sticking to the metal tin. Tiny little magnet blocks are both cute and fun!

Learning Resources STEM Explorers Pixel Art Challenge – This set encourages kids to get creative with blocks, really putting the ART in STEAM. Preschoolers can recreate the patterns included in the set or come up with their own. They’ll learn how to use graphing coordinates and combine shapes for some awesome math practice too.

Wooden Pretend Play Home Office Set – Preschoolers absolutely love to model their parents’ work through pretend play. This set is absolutely perfect for any child who watches the adults in their lives work on the computer or in an office regularly. I especially love that it offers these great pretend tools without actually incorporating any technology, so the focus is truly on the pretend play.

LEGO Classic Creative Food Friends – When kids are ready to move on from Duplos to actual Legos it can be hard to decide which set to start them on. This one is a winner. It gives them some extra special pieces and ideas, along with opportunity for creativity. The included patterns are small and quick, meaning that younger kids can be successful at building them on their own.

First Big Books Series 5-Book Set by National Geographic – When I’m looking for non-fiction books National Geographic is always my first choice. The photography is incredible and the facts are trusted and current. Every kid can find something amazing in these books.

Ooly Air Dry Clay Set – The colors included in the clay set are fun, bright, and ready to be used immediately. My biggest gripe with most clay sets is that all the little clay colors have to be opened separately because they’re individually wrapped. Ooly knocks the packaging out of the park, making it super easy to pop open each container and access all of the different colors right away. Parents will love you for this gift that allows children to create independently.

Sensory Activity Board – This sensory set offers so much variety of use! It’s double sided, so that the included silicone “strings” can be used on both sides. This is sure to keep kids busy, and their parents may want one of their own!
