2026 Plans

January is flying by! That’s kind of unusual – I feel like January typically draaaaaaaags on after the bustle of the holidays. This may be the busiest our family’s calendar has ever been in January so that’s definitely part of it. This year is going to be full of so much joy, here’s a little of what I’m looking forward to:

My daughter is 8 and she’s truly become this person with all of her own interests and she’s doing the things that light her up. It’s wild to watch! She landed a role in our high school’s musical, is getting to perform in ice shows a couple of times a year, and finally gets to be a full-fledged 4Her. I’m deep in my mom taxi era while really starting to try instilling a work ethic and drive to be proud of the effort she puts into all of her activities.

On top of all that we’ve got a couple of fun trips planned. We’re doing another Disney Cruise, so you’ll see some more of that content as we prepare. We’ll also get to celebrate a good friend’s BIG birthday, and we’re doing a ton of camping this summer. There are also plans bouncing around in my mind for a couple more short trips, so we’ll see how those pan out.

Work-wise, I’m re-vamping some of my imagery and really putting a focus on Instagram and Pinterest so that you can all follow along and find what you need a little easier. I’m excited to get back into the more creative parts of my work after a couple of years of focusing on technical and building structure.

I think the biggest thing that I’m looking forward to this year is spending a lot of really quality time with my little family. We just truly enjoy each other and I don’t make enough time to really be present with them. Putting aside my own projects and distractions so that I can soak up that time is a huge priority for this year!
