Planner Supplies for 2025

I see my planner as an extension of myself. That might sound a little dramatic, but I’m serious! It’s where I keep track of all of the tasks I need to complete, but it also serves as a record of special events, notes about things like snow days, birthday plans, vacation packing lists, and all of the things that are important to me and to my family. Since I use my planner as both a calendar and a scrapbook I’ve gathered quite a few materials to help really make it mine. Here are my favorite planning products for 2025 (all links are affiliates.
First things first, I have to keep all of my supplies organized AND easy to access. There’s nothing worse than needing to write something in my planner and not having the right marker to color-code it (I know, first world problems…). This Erin Condren pouch has an elastic band that makes it easy to keep it right on my planner. It’s plenty big enough for stickers, pens and markers, so that everything is in one place.
I’m definitely a sticker girl! I always a appreciate a seasonal sticker pack like this one – it has all of the holidays, so I can plan ahead. I also love a bigger sticker to really capture the theme of a page. These die cut vinyl stickers are super cute and come in inspirational messages that are perfect for planning and prepping.
The Happy Planner (which is what I use) is unique because it’s designed to grow with your needs. You can add any kind of page you want. This punch gives you the ultimate creativity AND organization. Add your own scrapbook papers, or punch fliers for school activities and put them right in your planner.
Flair Pens are my best friend. My love for them runs deep, and my planner is truly the perfect place to showcase this deep appreciation. There are so many different colors available and I choose a color scheme for each month. I’m a firm believer that there is no such thing as too many Flair Pens. When I’m looking for a more traditional pen, and not a marker, Papermate InkJoy pens are my go-to. These remind me of an old-school gel pen, but they look professional and give you a great fine line.
This stencil set is the perfect match for my Flair Pens. The stencils pop right into my planner and I can use them over and over to create frames, checklists, and banners. When I don’t have the exact sticker I need to draw attention to a task or reminder, I can draw something using the stencil for an easy fix. The tabs at the top of the stencils also act as perfect bookmarks so that I can find the weekly page I need instantly.
The tool I’ve purchased most recently is my little HP Sprocket photo printer. I’ve had my eye on this for a couple of years and finally talked myself into it. Now I can print photos from my phone (via bluetooth) and stick them right on my planner page for the day the photo was taken. The printer uses a specialty paper, no ink, and the pictures are sticky-backed. This thing was made for planning. I’m really looking forward to using it with my travel pages when we go on our next trip.
The single most impactful tool I’ve used so far are these pre-punched lined pages. These have totally given me the freedom to turn my planner into what I really need and want it to be. I can add anything on these pages and snap them right in. Pre-punched colorful folders are another fun way to gather all of the STUFF that a family amasses and keep it in one place for easy access.
Finally, if you have the punch then all you need is a set of plastic discs and you can turn anything into a beautiful journal. These little plastic discs come in so many different colors and sizes – you can even find a variety of shapes in the middle of them. Just one more way to fully customize your work.
