Flower Craft Idea for Preschool

There are so many (and I do mean SO MANY) flower craft ideas on Pinterest. They truly are cute, but I’m always a fan of an open-ended art project. Little ones will be so much more creative than you could’ve imagined if they’re presented with a wide variety of materials and simply asked to make a flower. I love to see what they come up with and how their brains view the items and supplies that are available. My favorite supplies for flower making are:
- Coffee filters
- Tissue paper
- Cotton balls
- Pipe cleaners
- Yarn
- Fabric scraps
- Colored paper
- Beads
I also make sure to have all of the basic crafting necessities on hand – scissors, white glue and glue sticks, tape, pencils, crayons, markers, etc. because you never know what a child might really need to make their vision a reality.
The best thing about projects like this is that everyone’s flower will look completely different!
