Drawing on the go
We spend a ton of time on the go during the summer. Whether we’re exploring local parks, killing time before practice, or meeting friends at the farmers market we always end up having a little down time to draw. Over the years my daughter and I have filled sketchbook after sketchbook with drawings that end up serving as reminders of wonderful memories.
Taking time to draw is a wonderful way to slow down, get a little meditative, and work through ideas. We draw the things that we see in front of us, or things that we want to remember. Sometimes we just doodle fun patterns or inspiring messages. Of course, it has definitely helped to have supplies on hand whenever we might want them.
