    We spend a ton of time on the go during the summer. Whether we’re exploring local parks, killing time before practice, or meeting friends at the farmers market we always end up having a little down time to draw. Over the years my daughter and I have filled sketchbook after sketchbook with drawings that end up serving as reminders of wonderful memories. Taking time to draw is a wonderful way to slow down, get a little meditative, and work through ideas. We draw the things that we see in front of us, or things that we want to remember.
