Stress Relief for Back to School
This time of year can be soooooo stressful! The calendar is packed with end of summer celebrations, meet the teacher nights, sports practices, and all of the to-do lists. It might not be the perfect time to squeeze in a little self care BUT you can definitely pick up a few stress-relieving products now so that when there is a free moment it’s really easy to put them to use. Self care is not one-size-fits-all, but I wanted to share a few of my favorite products to offer a little inspiration. All links are affiliates!
Lavender eye mask – This brings all of the sensory input. You get the aromatherapy, the weight of the lavender beads, and it can be heated up. Plus the outer layer is so soft!
Singing bowl machine – When I really need to wind down the singing bowl absolutely hits the spot. I need to be able to totally zone out, so being able to hit a button and get all of these great zen sounds is perfection.
Infuser water bottle – Nothing says spa day quite like some infused water. This is truly the prettiest option out there!
Gaiam Yoga Mat – A good stretch cannot be replaced, and sometimes i just need some cat/cow or child’s pose in my life. I always have a Gaiam yoga mat because I love the designs and they have the perfect level of squish.
Hydrating eye patches – When I have absolutely no extra time I turn to these. I put them on when I’m drying my hair in the morning and it’s like starting the day with deep breathing. They feel so good and they truly do make a difference in under-eye puffiness.
Stress relief candle – Lighting a great candle can go such a long way. I love that this can be my little bit of calm while I type away on the computer.
Salt lamp – The jury is out on whether salt lamps actually make a difference, but I love the pretty glow and sometimes it truly is about creating some ambiance.
Sugar scrub cubes – When it comes to bath products these are my absolute favorite splurge. I love that they are just as effective in the shower as the bath tub.
Crystal suncatcher – I’m not huge into the whole crystal thing, but there is something to be said for letting your mind wander while marveling over the light patterns thrown by a faceted stone. These are a fun and super-simple way to offer yourself that opportunity.
Essential oil bracelet – This is the most stunning diffuser bracelet that I’ve seen so far. It’s such a great way to take a little bit of calm with you. Speaking of calm, the calming stress ease oil from Nature’s Truth definitely does it for me.
