Teacher Appreciation Sale
Teachers Pay Teachers is having their big Teacher Appreciation Sale, and I have a tradition for every sale – I like to share what is on my wish list, and some of my favorite products in my store. So here are the things that I will definitely be buying during the sale: My first ever TPT purchase was this Planner from The Modern Teacher. I love that it is editable, and that she includes so many different layouts and page options to choose from. I’ve used this one for years, and now it’s time for something new, so I’m trying to decide between this one and this one. I hate…

New Resources
I’ve been working on a ton of different projects lately, and while doing so have stumbled across some new resources – and rediscovered some old favorites. Here’s a few that I wanted to share with you: Early Learning Resources Ohio – This site is personalized for teachers and program administrators in Ohio, but there are similar sites for other states. I cannot say enough good things about the resources that are available to subscribers; templates, forms, policy samples, discounts, every time I log on I find something different and this would have saved me so much time when I was an administrator! Child Care Aware – this site has a…

St. Patrick’s day is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate in the classroom. This is partiall because it means that we’ve turned the corner and spring is almost here – I am all about celebrating everything turning green! I also love this holiday because it’s magical and whimsical and mischievous, and I fully believe that children need the opportunity to enjoy these special days while they are still little. If you haven’t…

Fun Stuff for a New Year Celebration
I know that New Year’s Eve has come and gone, but I love to welcome the children back to school after the holidays with a small New Year celebration. It’s hard to come back to school after a break, especially since the last week of school before we left was all about celebrating the holidays. Coming back to the regular routine can be a little boring. This is my way of helping make that transition a little more fun. Here are some of the things that I’ve come up with over the years to put out for the first week to ensure that we have something new to explore while…
