Field day is a much loved end of the year tradition – it signals summer and warm weather! Children look forward to the opportunity to spend extra time outside playing games with their friends and teachers. Keeping them active and engaged is key to a successful preschool field day. That means finding the right combination of games that are both fun for little ones and fairly simple to set up and run for teachers and parent volunteers. End of the Year Preschool Activities

Last Day of School Traditions
Our last day of school is tomorrow! When my daughter was in kindergarten the last day of school rolled around and I realized that I hadn’t planned for any fun traditions. For me, someone who LOVES holidays and celebrations, this was a massive problem. I quickly came up with a couple of things that work well for us and have been things my girl really looks forward to. End of the School Year Memories
The last couple of days of the school year always feel so hard to plan for – There isn’t really time to accomplish anything, and the learning has been accomplished, but you have to do something! I created this End of the Year Memory Book to give us something to work on together as we revisit all of the fun from the entire year. The great thing about this book is that it’s truly customizable. Wrapping up a year of preschool
It’s the season to think about that transition from the school year into summer. Whether your program has a hard end date, or you’re with your student all summer long, it’s helpful to really think through how you want to support children through this. Children who will go to kindergarten next year often have the benefit of preparing for graduation, and the actual graduation celebration to signify the change.
