     It’s that time of year – Halloween classroom party time! I always loved these days, but I fully understand why some teachers don’t.     I have to apologize for being MIA this week, my household is sick sick sick! I know that its a rough year for cold and flu, and I’m not complaining because we could have it much worse.   • Keeping Preschoolers Germ Free

    If your classroom is anything like mine, there are a lot of germs floating around it right now.  I do my best to teach hand washing routines at the beginning of the school year, but right about now I feel like we need a refresher course in getting rid of some of those germs.   • Tape maze!

    Oh. My. Goodness.  My students absolutely loved this new game, and it is so easy that we may just make it part of our regular rotation. All you have to do is tear long pieces of masking tape and place them at varying levels across a hallway (if you don’t have a hallway I’m sure that you could set up some chairs that would work too).  Then the children have to get through the tape without getting stuck to it.
