I finally got this posted! I am so in love with this pretty patriotic set. I started making these 1 year ago and it has been the best to see how much they’ve improved each month – making these is truly my favorite part of my job. A Quick Update
You know that I’m prepping for summer, and that means switching my work schedule up a bit. I’m taking this week to make those changes and get everything ready to move forward. What that means is that you won’t see any new blog posts here this week, but next week I’ll be back in full force!

Travel Products for Kids
When I was sharing all of my travel tips earlier this week, it occurred to me that I should give you a peek into the items that I always make sure to have with us when we head out on a road trip. These are all affiliate links and I may receive a portion of the sales. Here are my recommendations for kid’s road trip must-haves: This unicorn travel pillow is one of my all-time favorite Amazon purchases. It’s adorable and SO soft. The cover zips off so it can be washed, and the mask and little ear plugs are included. It comes vacuum sealed in this tiny little bag,…

REALLY Changing Challenging Behaviors
A couple of weeks ago I shared a free sample of a behavior tracking system that can be used to identify patterns related to challenging behaviors. Now, I want to dig into what happens after you’ve identified those patterns. Let’s reflect so that you can really starting changing challenging behaviors in the classroom. Part of this system is a reflection sheet: This reflection starts by exploring what is working WELL for this child already – what parts of the day are they successfully able to manage their behavior? For some children, this will be easily evident, and for others you might have to continue observing to get an even better…

My favorite things – 2022 Edition
I can’t say goodbye to 2022 without sharing my favorite Amazon purchases! I love to review these because they say so much about the things that were on my mind throughout the year. It’s like a little time capsule right there in my order history. Here are the items that I’d definitely recommend: Printable vinyl sticker paper – I taught myself how to make stickers with my Cricut, and I’ve gone through so much of this printable vinyl! It’s really easy to use and prints really well. Instant Frother – I’ve really been trying to kick the Starbucks habit (or at least reign it in a little), and this has…

Christmas Break Activities for Learning
Christmas break is quickly approaching – my girl has 8 days of school left – and I’m feeling a little unprepared. She’ll be home with me for 12 days, and that means that we need some kind of plan or we’ll both go stir crazy. Getting organized for something like this is right up my alley, so I took some time to pull together Christmas Break learning activities. I promise these are easy enough to replicate no matter what types of materials you have available! I’m including some affiliate links that might be helpful too. The first think I did was grab a stack of these zipper pouches – I…

Preschool Plans for January
The holidays make it really easy to plan lessons and activities for the month of December, maybe that’s why January always feels like such a challenge. After a month of celebrating, January can be a little *blah* plus, with the busy-ness of December, plans for January have a way of getting pushed off until the last minute. Let me help with all of this! My Month of Preschool sets include lesson plans complete with all of the included activities AND space to differentiate for your group. Let’s take a look at some of the preschool plans for January that are included. All of the lesson plans include 5 days worth…

Open Ended Christmas Crafting
I’ve spent most of my career advocating for open-ended art experiences. I could go on and on about the learning that happens as children express themselves creatively… So I felt pretty ridiculous when I realized that my daughter didn’t stay engaged with art projects because they weren’t especially open ended. Talk about *face-palm* BUT, it’s never too late to change, so I’ve made sure that she has a ton of great supplies available to create whatever her heart desires when it comes to Christmas art. I’m definitely encouraging all of the open ended Christmas crafting! I know that my own excuse for not making many of these supplies easily available…
