Friday Freebie – 5 Little Pancakes
Yay for Friday! For this week’s freebie I wanted an activity that you could do with all of the Daytime Slumber Party ideas that I shared yesterday. I was having a really hard time finding any kind of PJ party freebie, so I made one myself. 5 Little Pancakes is a cute little magnet story that you can do with your students, and once they learn it, they can do it all by themselves. This activity is a fun way to practice counting and number recognition, along with rhyming and intonation. Download this cute freebie here, and then check out my other blog freebies! Have a great weekend, and enjoy…

An Easy Letter Activity for Preschool
I got to sub in a preschool classroom last week and the students were using my very first blog freebie. It’s still a great little freebie, bit it really needed an update – so I gave it one, and you can download the new version here! These are perfect for all kinds of letter recognition activities. I like to use them with letter pasta and have the children place the correct letter noodle in the box below the letter. I’ve also seen them used with letter beads, foam letters, and letter stamps. Older children can also write the letter in the box for extra writing practice. Great activities for preschoolers…

Friday Freebie – Phone Number and Address Practice
Happy Friday! This week it has really felt like spring, and it is crazy how much different everyone’s attitudes have been. The spring weather has me thinking about all of the things that are coming up this spring, and one of those big events is that my Pre-K kiddos will graduate, and start getting ready for Kindergarten. One of the topics that I strive to make sure my students know before heading to Kindergarten is their phone number and address. For me, these two things help children feel just a little more confident about making such a big change. When they get on a bus, they can be sure that…

Friday Freebie: St. Patrick’s Day
Happy Friday! have you ever had one of those weeks where it feels like it takes way longer than it should to get anything accomplished? This week has been like that for me, I just feel like I’m moving really really slowly. Maybe that means it’s time for me to take some time to re-energize, which is exactly what the weekend is for! This freebie might be the cutest St. Patrick’s Day activity I’ve seen, which makes sense because this St. Patrick’s Day Feelings set is from Jenna Rayburn. The set includes cards with shamrocks making emotion-related faces, along with prompts that ask children to talk about a time when…

Friday Freebie – Environmental Print
Happy Friday! I’m so glad that February is almost over, bring on spring! Unfortunately, just because the calendar says March, that doesn’t mean it’ll be warm here. It’s supposed to be 36 degrees this weekend, and that sounds warm to me right now! This week I’ve spent a lot of time sharing ideas for letter recognition and alphabet activities, so today’s freebie, fits right in. I’ve used this Environmental Print Alphabet set in my classroom for a couple of years, and the students love it. They recognize the brand names, and are easily able to figure out the letter that each brand name starts with. Go download this freebie from…

Friday Freebie – Classroom Labels
Happy Friday! When I looked at the calendar at the beginning of the week, I was in shock. The middle of February already?! I’m itching for spring, and it’s coming quickly (thank goodness). If you’re anything like me, you’re ready to freshen things up a bit, so I’ve got the perfect freebie for you. I recently revamped my classroom label freebie. It was one of the first sets that I ever added to my Teachers Pay Teachers Store, and it needed an upgrade. I’m planning on re-labeling my whole classroom (there’s just something about new labels that gets me excited, and I know I’m not the only one!), so go…

Easy Ornament Gifts
I am forever searching for gifts that my students can make for their parents that meet the following critera; they won’t cost me a fortune, and they can be completed in one sitting. This year I came up with a cute idea that is not only quick and easy, but it might actually be something that families will keep for years to come. How cute is this Keepsake ornament?! And, of course, all of the pieces are printable, so I can share them with you! It’s a really simple idea, there are five questions typed onto strips. The questions are meant to capture what is important to each child at…

Friday Freebie – Leaves
Yay for Friday! I’ve been looking forward to this particular Friday for months because I have the day off to attend my Brother-in-law’s wedding. I am so excited to spend the long weekend celebrating with family and great friends (and it just so happens to be taking places in one of my favorite places to visit – Ohio’s Amish Country – so bring on the baked goods!). To celebrate, I’m sharing two freebies with you today! The first is a really cute leaf silhouette match from Totschooling. This is a great activity even for the youngest children, they have to look at the colored leaf cards and see if they…

Friday Freebie – Football Season
I’m not a huge sports fan, but there is something about football season that I just cannot resist. I love the atmosphere of a football game, I love having the game on the television while I’m baking, and I love getting all decked out in my scarlet and gray on game day (Go Buckeyes!). Today’s Friday freebie is perfect for your classroom during football season. These football themed ten frames are from I is for Inspire (be sure to check out Jacqueline’s store, she has a ton of great preschool stuff!). I love this set because there is more to it than just the ten frames, she includes color word…
